Is the Apple Pencil supported by Notion?
The Apple Pencil can be used with Notion, but only as a stylus. This means that you won’t be able to draw on a blank canvas in Notion for iPad. It’s solely good for clicking and scrolling. That doesn’t rule out the possibility of storing handwritten text in Notion: You can always make it in another programme and then import it.
Can You Use the Apple Pencil to Draw in Notion?
Because the Apple Pencil can’t be used to write in Notion, it can’t be used to draw either. That doesn’t rule out the possibility of storing digital drawings in Notion: You may always draw them in an app and then import them into Notion for safekeeping when you’re finished.
There are a number of tools available to help you do so. Notes for iPad is by far the most simplistic and approachable of the lot, as it comes pre-installed on all iPads out of the box. There are also some paid options, such as GoodNotes 5 and Notability, that offer extra features. Both can be found in the App Store.
Obviously, it’s not as simple as it sounds: to edit the document, you must first open it in the programme in which it was produced, make your changes, and then export it to Notion. But keep in mind that this new version will not overwrite the previous one, so you’ll need to delete the previous one or you’ll wind up…
