Julia And The Ecology Club

In the city where Julia lived, everything was very neglected. Trash bins were overflowing. Waste of all kinds could be seen on the streets and the river on the outskirts showed how empty bottles, cans and bags floated on its surface.

Julia was a girl who loved nature and seeing this where she lived made her very sad. Julia loved watching documentaries about animals and places full of vegetation, she loved walks to the countryside and to the beach. Julia loved everything that had to do with nature, so seeing the state of her city and its surroundings seemed devastating to her.

She thought about how a girl as young as 9 years old like her could do something and she couldn’t think of anything. Everything seemed little to him, recycling, cleaning his sidewalk, going a few days to clean the river area with his parents and brother. Those activities were very useful, but Julia felt that it was not enough, she wanted to do something else.

One day Julia had an idea: to start an ecology club at her school. Julia thought of many ideas and wrote them all down in a notebook to go show her teachers the idea.

The afternoon that Julia presented her idea at school, the teachers were interested in the proposal and gave Julia permission to do so. In…
