Samsung has introduced two Galaxy Watch models for 2021:

  • Galaxy Watch 4
  • Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

With the digital touch ring around the edge and widths of 40mm and 44mm, this Galaxy Watch 4 looks identical to the Galaxy Watch Active 2. Meanwhile, the Watch 4 “Classic” features a physical spinning steel bezel and comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes, similar to the Watch 3. Both Bluetooth and LTE versions are available. Instead of Samsung’s TizenOS, which all prior Samsung watches utilized, both variants now use Google’s WearOS. This means you’ll have more options for apps on your watch, including all of the Google apps.

Both versions now have a speedier processor and more RAM (1.5GB vs. 1GB) and storage (16GB upgraded from 8GB) than the Watch3. A geomagnetic sensor and body composition analysis are among the additional sensors, however, some functionality may vary depending on your country.

Pros

  • The screen is quite responsive, and the display appears to be of the highest quality.
