Video game addiction (VGA) has become a major cause of illness and social ills in children and adults, and parents in the UK have turned to specialized clinics to get rid of the addiction.

Video games are popular all over the world, especially among children and teenagers. The individuals indulged in it can’t get out of the artificial world of video games even if they want to, in which case it can be harmful. Alex, a 16-year-old from Britain, had a similar experience.

Alex played video games until late at night, and he gradually became obsessed with autism. It was a big shock for the parents, when they tried to stop Alex, instead of staying away from the video games, Alex started fighting with the parents.

Instead of being bullied, the parents turned to the National Center for Gaming Disorders (Clinic), where experts began treating Alex on a scientific basis. Parents say the treatment did not make much difference to Alex, but they did talk to the parents of other children with the condition.
